His journey to christainity started when he was 17yrs old. He felt that as a Muslim he wasn't in the right religion. He mentioned his conversion to be a personal decision.
As a child he used to be forced to attend the Islamic centre. He also kept telling his mum about his decision to be a christain. He had to obey his parents till he was old enough to stand on his decision.
On a faithful Sunday he was sitting in front of their home where he was approached by christain youths from Redeem Church. He was invited for a youth programme and that was how he got arrested by Jesus Christ.
He was baptised in a Redeem church and has been on the journey for 8years now. He noted that his friends and family Changed towards him for his decision.
For 2years from the time he accepted Christ his mum was unhappy with him.
He hopes to bring his mum to christ while his dad on the other hand is not happy with him.
Above all, he says he feels "free and happy". His also very active in participating in youth programmes and holds a welfare position.
When asked if he would advise people to convert? He says ofcourse he would stating that "you shall know the truth and it shall set you free".
He mentions the challenges faced as a convert but suggests that a new convert finds another convert to talk to. Someone to take as a guardian.
The guardian should then ensure that meetings are arranged to discuss any issues faced.
His been able to covert three other individuals and that they are very active in attending the activities of the church.
He would like to be a pastor and have his own ministry.
The ministry is moving. Christ is everything.
